Schelia M. Evans

Schelia Marie Evans, 64, Corydon, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.

Born Oct. 5, 1948, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Shawler Kendall.

She was formerly employed at Tyson Foods in Corydon.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis D. Evans; a daughter, Tracy A. Hobbs; and a brother, Paul Thomas Kendall.

Survivors include a son, Jeremy D. Evans of Corydon; a daughter, Margaret Marie Evans of Corydon; three brothers, Rick, Jim and Bev Kendall, all of Corydon; four sisters, Rofenia Muntz and Marcie Keenan, both of Corydon, Deborah Thompson of New Albany and Margaret Rose Turner of Winchester, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 27, from noon to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 28, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Officiant: Pastor Tim Johnson.
