He worked for Cleo Greeting Cards and MCCSC in Bloomington. He had a daughter also named Mary Alice Scott of Bloomington and step-daughter Amanda Malone of Minnesota, 2 grandchildren Clara Marie and Andrew Lee Scott.
He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers and a sister.
