Reed, Sherry E. (McKim)

Sherry Elaine Reed, 70, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at her home.

She was born September 11, 1949 in Corydon. She was an owner-operator bus driver for 41 years for South Harrison School Corp., was a member of God’s Church, Old Capitol Saddle Club, V.F.W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary. Sherry was one dedicated lady and loved her family and friends, who will all miss this special lady very much. She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Hendrich and father P.J. McKim and grandson-in-law, Joe Woodlock. She is survived by her husband Jerry Reed; daughters, Michelle Calloway (Lonnie), Trina Kost (John); son, Marty Reed (Ange); granddaughters, Lisa Stepro (Jon), Jennifer Franks (Justin), Johna Woodlock, Dallas Duke (Joey), Jordan Kost and her canine buddy, Harley, all of whom loved her very much.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Pastor Tim Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Central, IN. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 and again Thursday from 9 AM until the service at 11 AM.
