Tell us about your Career

From 1975-1997 I was at American Synthetic Rubber in Louisville serving in a
number of engineering assignments until 1987 when I assumed the role of Human
Resources and Regulatory Affairs Director. In 1997 I joined the
International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers in Houston and became
the Managing Director and CEO in 1999, the position I still hold today.

My life has been good especially the since 1978 when Pat and
I were married. We have shared some great travels with my job and we have enjoyed all of the places we have been..

Tell us about your Bad Times

2006 was a tough year. I survived prostate cancer and a near death
experience where a blood clot blocked my pulmonary artery. I survived both
and this has changed my focus on the important things in life.
