Tell us about your Education.
Graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 1976
Bachelor of Science in Business.
I hold a technician class amatuer radio license, call sign KC4OAD.
Tell us about your Military or other service.
United States Navy aboard the USS Calcaterra DER390. This was WWII destroyer escort used for electronic intelligence gathering. I had the opportunity to visit Greece(ouzo is great), Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Rhodes, Germany, Denmark, England, Scotland,and my personal favorite, San Juan Puerto Rico. Oh yes, I forgot, Guantanamo Naval Base (Gitmo), nice place.
Tell us about your Family
I have not been married and have no children, other than my three Kerry Blue Terriers, and they are my children. Teacta 8 years old: Glly 5 years old: and on Feb 4 I brought home Clancy 3 months old, my next champion.
Tell us about your Career
My first and best job was at the Dog \'n\' Suds. In june of 2005 I retired from the W.W. Grainger Co. after 29 years. I also worked for Grainger and lived in Lexington Ky for 5 years as branch manager.
Tell us about your Hobbies
Dogs, and participating in AKC conformation competition.I used to play bridge but I think the last itme I played was in 1968. I am a member of the LaGrange Presbyterian Church and Tuesday Night Mens Bible study. Although you not not think of this as \'fun\' I derive a lot of joy from our small group discussions and the friends I have at Church.
Tell us about your Good Times
Undoubtedly the best times I had were at \'the camp\' Dr. Martin\'s camp in the forestry. My greatest victory was surviving the military (I had a real problem saluting people)and finishing college (also not easy for someone considerably less than brilliant)
Tell us about your Bad Times
The longer I live the more I realize there are no bad times, just things you have to survive, heal from, and put behind you. If you are alive, its a good time.
Tell us about your philosophy of life
Experience and memories, good and bad, form our lives. I I\'m not sure what its all about but I am enjoying the experiences and the memories.
