The Rev. Jane F. Lincoln
Died: Monday, November 17, 2008

The Rev. Jane F. Lincoln, 59, Ramsey, died Monday morning, Nov. 17, 2008, at Hosparus Inpatient Pavilion in Louisville.

Born March 30, 1949, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Douglas L. and Mary Belle Livingston Stinson.

She was the pastor at Memphis United Methodist Church, a former pastor for Atkins Chapel and Hursttown United Methodist churches, was a member of Hursttown UMC, had conducted services at Hillview Apartments in Corydon and participated in the REC (Residents Encounter Christ) prison ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Lincoln of Ramsey; a son, Graham D. Lincoln of Ramsey; a daughter, Shana M. Lincoln of New Albany; a brother, Terry L. Stinson of Cummings, Ga.; and a sister, Mary Sells of Jeffersonville.

Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 20, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hursttown Cemetery north of Corydon.

Officiants: Pastors Barbara Planck, Betty Sieberns, Glenda Riggs and Charles Wilfong.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the Pastor Jane Lincoln Memorial Fund at any Chase Bank or in care of the funeral home.
