John P. Jackson passed away on July 3, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 72. John spent most of his life as a social studies teacher and coach in Corydon and at Walden School in Louisville, where he found great pleasure in helping his students succeed in the classroom and thrive on the basketball court, baseball diamond, track, and cross country course. He was an avid reader and lifelong fan of the Louisville Cardinals and St. Louis Cardinals.
John is survived by his son, Kevin (Jennie), his daughter, Kristin Proctor (Brandon), a brother, Alan (Karen), a sister, Kathy Stroud (Phil) and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny and his mother, Judy.
