Frank W. Ordner, Jr. passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

He was born December 5, 1949, in New Albany, IN the son of Frank W., Sr. and Tillie Mae Wolfe Ordner. He was a schoolteacher for over 30 years, was also basketball coach, vice principal and then principal in the South Harrison Community School Corporation. He was owner and operator of Ordner Insurance and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon. He was a former Grand Knight and past Faithful Navigator and one of the founding members of the 4th Degree Council 1808 of the Knights of Columbus in Harrison County, IN. He enjoyed attending National Reining Horse Association Shows and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Dee Hublar. He is survived by his wife, Theresia Hublar Ordner of Corydon, IN; sons, Frank W. Ordner, III (Deborah) of Pilot Point, TX, Robert J. Ordner (Christina) and John M. Ordner all of Corydon, IN; daughter, Margaret “Maggie” Ordner of Corydon and 5 grandchildren, Ellla Ordner, Hailey Ordner, Joshua Ordner, Cole Fisher and Brooke Fisher; brother-in-law, Robert Hublar of New Albany, IN. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN and from 9 AM to 11 AM Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to St. Joseph Catholic School. There will be a rosary service held at 7:30 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19, masks are recommended.
